Philly is looking very merry and super-bright this holiday season.

From local landmarks to neighborhood blocks, dozens of holiday festivals, parades, light shows, performances and more are set to transform the region into the ultimate wintry destination.

Philadelphia’s holiday season officially begins and ends with two time-honored, beloved traditions: the 6abc Dunkin’ Thanksgiving Day Parade on the Benjamin Franklin Parkway and the Mummers Parade down South Broad Street on New Year’s Day.

And new attractions and events — including Yuletide at Liberty Hill, a reimagined Longwood Christmas at Longwood Gardens and the Oaks Christmas Market — spring up across the region, adding new traditions to time-honored staples.
