Printmaking by the People: Citywide Voices of 2026

What to Expect

Throughout the winter, spring and summer of 2025, Mural Arts will organize over 50 artist-led community-based workshops engaging locals in discussions examining the ideals on which the country was founded and instruction into the art of printmaking.

Past events have covered what freedom and social justice mean in relation to the Declaration of Independence followed by an art exercise using a technique called relief printing.

By the end of 2025, Mural Arts’ team of muralists will design a mural based on art created in these workshops. The final artwork will debut in 2026.
