Black Friday Week is now underway! The day of deals is now a full week, and promises holiday shopping season savings. This post rounds up the best buys during Amazon’s ‘Discounts Before Dinner’ pre-Thanksgiving special for your Walt Disney World vacations, plus products that will make great gifts for yourself or others–including travel gadgets, toys, books, games, Loungeflys, and more.

If you feel like you’re having deal déjà vu, that’s because this follows a trend that started last year…and then got even more aggressive this year. A little over a month ago, Amazon added a second Prime Day in October to go along with its annual sale in July. Shortly after that, they started offering early access to Black Friday deals once November started.

The difference is that what we’re seeing during Black Friday Week surpasses previous deals from the last two months in 9 out of 10 cases. Some of the exact same products listed below were on sale before, but now offer superior savings. We’ve seen one item go from 30% off to 40% off and another go from 40% off to 47% off–just as two illustrative examples.

For whatever it’s worth, we’re expecting even better ‘doorbuster’ deals on some items once the actual day of Black Friday rolls around. However, that won’t be the case across the board–some new sales will start, some current ones will end. Some products will sell out. Amazon does this to create a sense of urgency–and it works! We hedge our bets by buying now, and then checking back on Black Friday and Cyber Monday to see if things are cheaper. If so, we simply buy them again and return the duplicate to our local Whole Foods.

If you want a broader selection of the current deals, check out Amazon’s Black Friday Sale page for the biggest savings and most popular deals. Even then, the options can be overwhelming, as there are literally tens of thousands of items on sale. If you’re not already a member, click here for a FREE 30-day Amazon Prime trial membership. Also a great way to watch Thursday Night and Black Friday Football! (Worth it alone for Al Michaels’ indifferent commentary when one of the games underwhelms.)

Below, we’ve combed through the various deals on Amazon’s Black Friday Week Sale page and are sharing only those we deem good. We receive a small commission from Amazon for your purchases, so buying through these links helps support the site. However, neither the price you pay nor our recommendations (or lack thereof) are impacted by that.

Disney Travel Gadgets

FuelRod 2-Pack – Did you ever think you’d see the day when Disney Tourist Blog dot com was actively endorsing this controversial charger? Well, we just did. And perhaps to the surprise of no one, an exceptional deal was involved that helped make up our minds in favor of the new and improved device. If you’re on the fence about FuelRods, we recommend giving them a try–and buying this 2-for-1 deal before inventory sells out.

Anker Nano Portable Charger (Select Colors) – My new favorite charger as of this year. The big selling point is the built-in Lightning connector for iPhones, meaning that you don’t need to carry additional cords. Select colors are 31% off for Black Friday Week. There’s also a USB-C version for those of you with iPhone 15 or non-iPhones.

Anker Zolo 10,000mAh 30W Portable Charger with Built-in USB-C Cable for Travel – This charger is–without a doubt–the charger we’d buy if we had phones with a USB-C connector instead of the Lightning connector. This one is 40% off for Black Friday Week and has another 17% off coupon! Also available in 20k capacity.

Anker 24,000mAh Power Bank 3-Port Portable Charger with 140W Output – For those who really go hard playing the Lightning Lane refresh game. A great deal at 47% off, but it’s massive and more than most people will need!

Anker 3-Port Charging Block – This is a niche product, but it’s another game-changer for me. This Anker 3-port block charges my Nikon mirrorless camera, laptop, and phone simultaneously and the device is smaller than my Macbook charger by itself. At 53% off for Black Friday week, the price is right!

Anker Outlet Extender – If you don’t need something that advanced (really only necessary for high-end cameras or laptops), this is a much less expensive alternative that also gives you added outlets.

Anker PowerPort Cube Strip with 3 Outlets and 3 USB Ports – Disney has refurbished many of its rooms, adding USB ports in the process, so this isn’t really necessary for those. It is for many off-site and older hotel rooms, though. Plus, this has fast-charging to get devices recharged quicker and USB-C.

Anker 4-Port USB Phone Charger – Same idea, but all USB. As you’ve probably gathered by now, Anker products are featured as part of Amazon’s Black Friday Week Sale.

Apple AirPods Pro – These are the headphones I use. At 32% off, the discount is excellent by Apple standards.

Gonex Compression Packing Cubes – They key here is that these are compression packing cubes, which normally cost more and will save you even more space when packing. If you need the suitcase space, we recommend this set over the one below. Be sure to clip the coupon for more off.

Packing Cube Sets (Multiple Sizes) – Another staple of our packing list, we are fans of packing cubes and these are a solid deal. (With that said, there are a LOT of packing cubes on sale, so you might want to browse the results for “packing cubes” on the Amazon Black Friday Week page and see which sizes/colors/etc. best suit you.)

Gonex Packable Backpack — Another excellent innovation from the fine folks at Gonex…a brand I’ve literally never heard of outside the ‘packable’ space. This takes up minimal room in your suitcase and more importantly is super lightweight. That minimizes the amount of back-sweat you’ll have to endure from the Florida heat and humidity. Be sure to clip the coupon–that’s the only way this is a deal.

Personal Neck Fan – We bought this little device a couple years ago, and it’s shockingly effective. It’s like that refreshing feeling you get when walking past an open doorway of an air-conditioned building. It’s not perfect, but it’s a really fantastic idea, and is a breath of fresh air during hot and humid days in Florida (which is ~10 months of the year).

Handheld Portable Small Fan (USB Chargeable) – If you don’t want to be quite as dorky with the neck fan and don’t want to wear a cooling towel, this classic handheld fan is the more traditional option for keeping cool. It ends up being under $10 after discount and clipping the coupon on the product page.

American Tourister Minnie Mouse Suitcase – I’m not a fan of this, but I’m also not the target audience. Objectively great deal at 55% off.

American Tourister Disney Kids’ Bags – Cute bags for kids at great prices–some designs are up to 46% off, others aren’t on sale at all.

Disney Household Goods

Mickey Pants and Minnie Skirt 3D 7.4oz Double Wall Glass Coffee Cups – JoyJolt has done it again! The makers of the fan-favorite Mickey Mouse Head 3D Cups (which are sadly sold out), this looks to be another fun Disney cup option.

Looking cool is just part of the appeal. These are high quality cups–that are dishwasher (etc.) safe. The double-wall coffee glass insulation lets you cup hot beverages in your hands without burning. It’s a sharp style that has an almost floating effect. At 33% or 40% off, these are a great deal. (Another larger option is the JoyJolt Mickey & Pluto Sketch Art Mugs, also on sale.)

JoyJolt Disney Christmas Glasses – There are a bunch of different options from JoyJolt that are on sale, but the ‘Joy Oh Joy’ set is the only that qualifies as Christmas. They have a classy, mid-century look that matches our new tree skirt perfectly. High quality, with a nice weighted base, too.

Mickey Mouse Soap Dispenser – Honestly, I have no clue whether this is a good deal–it’s the first time I’ve ever seen it. Note that there are a bunch of different options, including my personal favorite, Pumpkin Mickey! (A little late for that, but Halloween will probably happen again next year.)

Mickey Mouse Toothbrush Holder – Great deal at 57% off.

Loungeflys

Loungefly Mickey Mouse Adventureland – This reminds me more of Wilderness Lodge than Adventureland. Probably not the ideal backpack for a trek through the great outdoors, but a fun look for Walt Disney World and a great deal.

Loungefly The Mandalorian Baby Yoda Backpack – Everyone loves Baby Yoda (or Grogu, if you’re a dork) and this backpack is 27% off for Black Friday week.

Loungefly Princess Jasmine – A fun one for Aladdin fans and a great deal at 50% off.

Loungefly Marvel Guardians of the Galaxy Kawaii Backpack – A cute (that’s what kawaii means) backpack with the GotG characters that’s 38% off.

Loungefly Haunted Mansion Crossbody – I had no idea that they even made products other than backpacks and wallets, but this purse is cool and the price is right! Jump on it before the Lightning Deal runs out (it’s already going FAST).

Knockoff Loungefly Bag – Calling a spade a spade, this is basically a bootleg Loungefly bag. Now, I am definitely NOT the target audience for such a product, but as someone who doesn’t “get” how on earth Loungeflys are so expensive, I think this is a far, far superior option!

More Loungefly Black Friday Deals – Lots of other Loungefly products on sale, including several more Disney items…some of which are kinda ugly. There’s even a creepy Nightmare Before Christmas bag that I first thought was Killer Klowns from Outer Space.

Disney Toys

Mattel Disney Princess Carriage-to-Castle Transforming Play Set – As the name suggests, this changes from a carriage to a castle to allow kids to whisk away their Disney Princess small dolls to the next adventure and dance the night away at the castle–all in one playset! 50% off for Black Friday Week.

Encanto Garden Room Playset – If your kids are among the two dozen or so who loved Wish, you’re in luck, as stores are still trying to clearance this stuff out a year later. This is a “lightning” deal, but I’m pretty sure there’s no rush to score it.

Elsa Ice Palace “Little People” Playset – Cute Frozen figures, neat light-up set, and good price. What’s not to love?

Disney Princess Dress Up Trunk Deluxe 21 Piece – This is a great deal on an item that’s really popular among Walt Disney World fans as an inexpensive alternative to doing Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique.

Moana Doll & Boat Set includes a posable Moana doll, adorable Heihei the rooster and Pua the pig figures, and her outrigger boat that really floats!

LEGO Disney Wish Asha’s Cottage – Regardless of the movie’s quality, this looks fun. And a steal of a deal at 45% off. If your kids didn’t like Wish or you didn’t see it, I dunno, tell them it’s the cottage from Snow White.

LEGO Disney and Pixar ‘Up’ House – This 598-piece LEGO Disney toy set includes a partial house built with balloons, different rooms and functions, plus Carl Fredricksen and Russell LEGO minifigures, and a Dug LEGO dog figure for dog lovers. According to LEGO, the set is “made for unlimited adventures on land or floating through the clouds.”

LEGO Madrigal House from Encanto – This is another Lightning Deal, and a great one at 40% off. Even though this set has been on sale a lot, this is the cheapest we’ve seen it!

LEGO Disney Princess Enchanted Journey Building Set – I don’t remember hot air balloon travel being featured in any Disney princess story…but perhaps it should be.

LEGO Disney Advent Calendar (2024) – Surprise kids aged 5 and up with a 253-piece buildable toy packed with 24 days of characters, activities and surprises. Each day offers a new festive build or character to inspire play, plus the Advent calendar box turns into a game board. If Megatron were “aged 5 and up,” this would be an instant-buy.

Walt Disney Presents “Wonderful World of Color” Crazy Over Daisy Collectible – This is not a kid’s toy. It says it is, but it isn’t. Unless your kids are really cool. This special diorama is intended to remain intact within its window box package. As a new parent who has (painfully) had to remove tags and toys from their packaging, that’d be tough to do here.

This was an exclusive created for Disney100, which ended almost a year ago…which is why this is 42% off. With 100 Years of Wonder celebration now firmly in the rearview mirror, there’s a ton of Disney100-branded stuff like this that’s being sold at deep discounts. It’s worth browsing the search results for Disney100 on the Black Friday page to see what appeals to you, as we might have different tastes.

Santa Mickey Mouse Christmas Puzzle – I bought this during the last sale and it’s fantastic. The box is high quality and although I haven’t put it together yet, I love everything about this 1,000 piece puzzle. This will be a great family Christmas-time activity to do while watching Hallmark movies (everyone knows you can multitask during those–only the last 5 minutes matter) in the living room.

Disney Games

Haunted Mansion: Call of The Spirits Board Game – I’m a total sucker for cheesy and cheeky board games, as well as Walt Disney World board games. This is the perfect intersection of those interests. It’s a fairly strategic game that’s easy enough for kids but also deep enough for adults. At 40% off (or only $15!), this one is a MUST BUY!

Disney Eye Found It Card Game — A card game version of the standard board game that we normally recommend—and an even better deal (48% off).

Funko Disney It’s a Small World Game – It’s the happiest cruise that ever sailed! And you’ll be truly happy when cruising through checkout saving 30% off this game!

Ravensburger Disney Lorcana TCG: Gateway – This is the excellent trading card game that has a huge following in the Disney fandom. This new Lorcana ‘Gateway’ package includes two prebuilt decks is filled with special versions of Disney friends called “glimmers” that are ready to join you on your adventure.

With Disney Lorcana Gateway, you’ll learn both how to play them and ways they can work together. At 50% off, this is a fantastic deal–for the entire package, you’re paying the cost of a pack of cards. Worth the $12.50 gamble if you’ve yet to give Lorcana a shot. You might end up loving it!

Sorry! Board Game: Disney Villains Edition – This family game combines classic Sorry gameplay with a wickedly fun Disney Villains inspired board, Spell cards, and 16 Villain pawns.

Disney Books

Disney Parks Little Golden Book Library – A bunch of the titles below in a great collection for Walt Disney World or Disneyland fans.

There are other Disney Little Golden Books, many of which are part of a 3 for 2 promo or have coupon codes that make them better deals. In any case, here are the other titles:

3 for 2 Little Golden Books – There are actually a ton more options as part of that sale–here’s a full rundown of titles.

Disney Who’s Who (Autograph Book Substitute) – Finally going to find out if this works as well for an autograph book as so many of our friends claim!

Bedtime Favorites Storybook Collection – With 18 stories and 250 illustrations, this is a great option for bedtime reading to little ones.

Disney Princess Cookbook – From Rapunzel’s Frying Pan Eggs to Ariel’s Sea Turtle Cupcakes, this beautiful cookbook is filled with delicious recipes inspired by the Princesses’ many adventures.

Disney Storybook Collection — A large, 300+ page hardcover book retelling several classic Disney stories complete with 250 pieces of artwork from the Disney Archives.

A Portrait of Walt Disney World: 50 Years of The Most Magical Place on Earth – Our favorite Walt Disney World coffee table book ever. The best thing to come out of the 50th Anniversary celebration, with tons of rare photos and concept art. You can read our full review if you want, but the bottom line is that this is the best book about Walt Disney World.

Walt Disney’s Disneyland — One of my favorite Disneyland books of all-time at a crazy-good price. Anyone who has owned or even held a TASCHEN book knows why this is something special. This is an incredibly high-quality coffee table book, and well worth more than the $22 (!!!) price tag. Be sure to click the ~$11 off coupon to bring it down to that price–an insane deal!

Holiday Magic at the Disney Parks: Celebrations Around the World — This is an incredible deep dive into the holidays (mostly Christmas and Halloween, but also Easter and other seasonal events) with great photos, detailed information, and rich history. If you love the seasonal events, this is an absolute must-own.

Delicious Disney: Walt Disney World – This is a cookbook, with recipes for iconic dishes like the Grey Stuff, Tonga Toast, Kungaloosh, Ronto Wrap, and much more. You’ll also find rare restaurant concept art, history (my favorite is “Walt Loved Fried Chicken”), and old menu scans.

Poster Art of the Disney Parks, Second Edition – This new title is an expanded and updated edition of the beloved book that ranks highly in our library. The second edition renders the first obsolete, as the 85+ new posters and behind-the-scenes development info nearly doubles the book in length. It’s worth it for all of the awesome new posters made for EPCOT’s reimagining alone.

Maps of the Disney Parks — This is a staple of our gift-giving guides, and that’s in part because it looks really nice, making it an eye-catching gift.

Okay, that’s it for right now. There are a bunch of other great deals that are irrelevant to Disney and travel (but also don’t appeal to me) on the Amazon Black Friday Sale homepage. We recommend browsing for yourself a bit, and checking back often, as new deals are regularly appearing–and disappearing. Just be mindful of the fact that some of these offers are time-sensitive, so you don’t want to spend too much time procrastinating and end up losing out!

Be sure to check back here throughout the coming days, as I’ll share new discounts and more Lightning Deals as they become available. Oh, and if you find anything that you think would be useful for other Disney fans, please share in the comments below!
